ReEvolution
A 3D printed wearable in the shape of a tail, doing different amplitude and direction movements through mechanical design.
25 million years ago, our ancestors evolved to lose their tails in order to survive better. The coccyx, commonly referred to as the tailbone, is the final segment of human being and the remnant of a vestigial tail. In the future, will we re-evolve, regain our tails, and return to our most authentic and natural form?
This attempt is not only exploring the concept of the tail as a long lost part of the body which involves weight, balance and other sensories, but also creating a physical extension which displays an invisible part of self.
